Mid-Week Update
I'm finally halfway done with the trekking socks - it's time to start knitting the heel flap. Unfortunately, I seem to have mislaid my copy of the pattern. I've looked through all of Interweave Knits issue to locate the pattern but for some reason it is escaping me at the moment. And stupid me, I forgot to record the issue number and page on the blog. It'll turn up, I'm sure. I just am itching to get this over and done with, and I'm annoyed when things like this get in my way.
Addendum: Did a quick search and finally found the copy . . . oops, no, that's not the pattern for this pair I'm knitting. Sigh . . . I'll have to set it aside for later today.
As for the job situation, still waiting, but I'm hopeful. Meanwhile, I'm continuing to peruse job ads and sending out resumes. Gotta keep the game alive . . .
Meanwhile, I'm still spinning froghair but it's not too bad. I've been eyeing my Majacraft Little Gem which has been sitting in the corner of the living room. I've neglected it quite so and I think it got a little warped due to the moisture. I'm going to go over it carefully and see if it can revived. The reason I never really used it is because I found it difficult to treddle on. I've heard that the model has supposedly been improved since it came out, but I haven't been able to find a model to try out. I'm going to see if I can find a dealer in this area who can order the shaft I need replaced.
Meanwhile, here's a family car that I can definitely let Bruce get . . .

Oh I know how you feel about the missing pattern-that's the story of my life. I've organized and now I can't find a thing!
