Home Sweet Home

Back now from Minnesota and so glad to be back in my own house. It was a very interesting trip, mostly meeting family members. But we did get to do a bit of sightseeing, mostly driving around Minneapolis. Unfortunately we didn't have time to hit any yarn stores. But next time we do go there, we'll make sure to take one or two days just for sightseeing. I got started on this shawl from Folk Shawls, the Irish one. It's a nice pattern, and I'm trying to get into the rhythm. Since I'm not too keen on purling over 500 stitches, I modified this pattern to be mostly garter. Right now you can't really see the pattern, but it should come out nicely when blocked.
