Two Finished Sweaters So Far . . .
I guess it's time for me to come out of hibernation. While I was absent from the blog, I was busy knitting. I'm still in love with EZ's Saddle Shoulder pattern, after knitting a light blue version. I'd been working a blue version, but was stumped as to how the saddle shoulder shaping was supposed to work, and I was using size US 7 needles which made for a rather tight knitting with Crestari wool worsted yarn.. Then came the Winter Olympics, and I needed something to knit during that period, so I decided to use green Crestari wool worsted, but with size US 8 needles. Wow . . . big different - it just flew on my needles like butter and by the end of Olympics I was ready for the saddle shaping. Well, I would have finished by end of Olympics but for a really stupid mistake. Obviously, you can see that I finally figured out the saddle process, after reviewing what other folks had done. So . . . here are the sweaters in all their glory . . .
