Deaf Orthodox Christians

Calling All Deaf Orthodox Christians!

Were you raised as an Orthodox Christian? Or . . . are you interested what so many right-believing Orthodox Christians have believed in, and in many cases gave up their lives, for almost 2,000 years? And are you also deaf or hard of hearing?

Are you a parent, a grandparent, a godmother or godfather, or a close relative who is concerned about making sure your deaf child is learning about what it means to be an Orthodox Christian?

If so, maybe you have questions about the Divine Liturgy, what do Orthodox Christians believe, or maybe just to talk to a priest.

We want to hear from you . . . we want to hear about your experiences in the Church. We want to hear what your parish has done for deaf members. We want to hear about your concerns. We want to hear about your ideas.

You can contact Deaf Orthodox Christians at deaf.orthodox -AT- gmail dot com, and Lola Lee Beno will get back to you.

Meanwhile, you can learn about the Orthodox Christian faith at the Orthodox Church in America website.
