Bitten By The Sleeve Curse Again
Once again, I'm finding myself on the Sleeve Island. I finally understood that part of EZ's instructions on how to get started with the shaping. And I'm knitting along merrily, and then at some point I try on the body to see how it feels. Umm . . . it seems that the current sleeves are skin-tight around my wrists. This isn't good, because I wear turtlenecks (especially those with some ease) during the winter.
You'll see that Sleeve I, on the left, measures 3". That's way, way too small, even with my small wrists. Sleeve II will give me that ease that I need plus enable me to wear my turtlenecks and not feel so uncomfortable. Now I just have to get both sleeves reknitted and completed this weekend so I can move on. Meanwhile, I'm still trying to grok that saddle shoulder shaping after I finish the vertical decreases . . .
I'm doing a bit of stash housecleaning, so I have some spinning items up for sale. There will be more going up for sale, such as handspun yarn and extra magazines. I take PayPal, and you pay shipping (I don't have a job currently, so I can't afford to pay shipping charges) and insurance (if you want it). I'm hoping to learn how to make stitch markers, so eventually I will have these available, if I can come out with good designs. There's a beading store here in Bowie that is relocating to the shopping center right by my home, so I hope to find good stuff there.
